A simple naphthalene based chemosensor was designed as a quantitatively operating lab-on-a-molectile for the selective detection of fluoride, cyanide and nitroaromatic explosives, showing significant emission quenching and absorption enhancement in dual channel along with a distinct solution color change. In addition, the sensing mechanism was evaluated by NMR titration and fluorescent titration. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
