Purpose/Objective: Optimal timing for surgery after neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (NCRT) remains controversial, necessitating reliable preoperative indicators. This study examines how sarcopenia and surgical timing affect prognosis in locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (LA-ESCC) patients.
