To the Editor, According to the 2016 WHO classification,1 urinary tract tumors can be classified into nine subtypes, including urothelial carcinoma (UC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), adenocarcinoma (Adeno), urachal carcinoma (Urachal), tumor of Müllerian type (Müllerian), neuroendocrine tumors (NE), mesenchymal tumor (Mesenchymal), etc. Most previous studies only focused on one specific subtype or the overall non-UC cases.2,3 However, there are currently few largescale studies investigating the prevalence and prognostic value of various histologic subtypes in urinary tract tumors.
