摘要:
Cuproptosis, an emerging modality of regulated cell death triggered by intracellular copper accumulation, has recently garnered increasing scientific interest due to its therapeutic potential across a spectrum of pathological conditions. The convergence of this novel cell death mechanism with nanomedicine has catalyzed swift progress in designing therapeutic modalities, offering new avenues for precision-targeted interventions. Despite this progress, systematic evaluations of nanocuproptosis remain scarce. To address this gap, we conducted a scientometric analysis of research published between 2014 and 2024. The dataset utilized in this study was extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection and subsequently subjected to in-depth analysis using a suite of scientometric methodologies and visualization frameworks. The analytical outcomes underscore China's predominant influence within this research domain, contributing 78.04% of all publications and shaping the direction of research. Notable institutions include the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sichuan University, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Additionally, Liudmila Puchkova is identified as the most productive researcher, while Advanced Healthcare Materials emerges as the top journal publishing related studies. The analysis also reveals key disease areas associated with nanocuproptosis research, such as hepatocellular carcinoma, glioma, melanoma, pancreatic neoplasms, and triple-negative breast neoplasms. This comprehensive scientometric study provides valuable insights for both established and early-career researchers, facilitating rapid access to critical information and supporting further advances in the field.© 2025.
