Pelvic exenteration (PE) is often the only curative treatment option for locally advanced or recurrent colorectal cancer associated with signifcant morbidity.1 , 2 PE often leads to a serious decline in the health-related quality of life (HRQOL).3 , 4 PE outcomes in Chinese patients were limited.
